DroneDeploy Alternatives 2026: 7 Options After Procore

Aerial drone view of rows of solar panels on a solar farm, the kind of energy site teams map and inspect with DroneDeploy alternatives

The best DroneDeploy alternative in 2026 is DroneBundle for teams that want the whole drone operation in one platform: jobs, pilot scheduling, airspace checks, flight records, DJI Dock flights, clients, invoicing and maintenance, with maps, 3D models and thermal maps built on the same job. If you only need to replace the processing, the main DroneDeploy alternatives are Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, DJI Terra, Propeller, WebODM and SkyeBrowse.

DroneDeploy changed hands this year. Procore, the construction management software company, completed its roughly $845 million cash purchase on September 9, 2026, and DroneDeploy now runs as a wholly owned Procore subsidiary.

Procore framed the deal around the construction jobsite. If your drone program inspects solar farms, substations, power lines, roofs or towers, or runs DJI Docks, this is a good moment to look at DroneDeploy alternatives before your next renewal.

There are two kinds. Processing tools replace the map: they turn photos into orthomosaics, point clouds and 3D models. Operations platforms replace everything around the map: who flies, which aircraft, for which client, under which approval, and what happens to the records and the invoice. DroneBundle does both, which is why it ranks first. Prices below come from each vendor's published pricing in October 2026.

The best DroneDeploy alternatives, compared

The best DroneDeploy alternative is the one that replaces what you actually use it for, at a price that holds as your team grows. Here are the seven, ranked.

# Platform Best for Pricing
1 DroneBundle Best overall: maps, 3D models and thermal maps on the job, plus pilots, flight records, dock flights, clients, invoicing and maintenance Flat tiers from $149 a month, 3D Scans on Enterprise, 14-day free trial
2 Pix4D Survey-grade processing control PIX4Dmatic from $125 a month, PIX4Dmapper from $333 a month
3 Agisoft Metashape A one-time desktop license $179 Standard, $3,499 Professional
4 DJI Terra DJI cameras and Zenmuse LiDAR $1,850 a year Standard, $3,700 a year Flagship
5 Propeller Earthworks and mining volumes By quote
6 WebODM Free, open-source processing Free to self-host, cloud from $24 a month
7 SkyeBrowse Quick 3D models from video Free tier, then $24.99 to $199 per model

For reference, DroneDeploy publishes two prices: $4,188 a year for the single-user Individual plan and $1,908 a year for Ag Lite. Every team plan is quote-only, and those two figures have held since November 2025 (archived pricing page). Our DroneDeploy pricing breakdown explains the gigapixel limits behind them.

1. DroneBundle: best overall DroneDeploy alternative

DroneBundle is the best DroneDeploy alternative for drone service companies and enterprise programs, because it replaces the map and the operation around it in one workspace. The scan, the flight records, the pilot, the client and the invoice all sit on the same job.

  • Best for: inspection companies, utility and energy teams, enterprise drone programs and dock operators.
  • Pricing: Starter $149 a month, Professional $499, Business $999, Enterprise custom with 3D Scans included. 14-day free trial with every Enterprise feature and 20 processing credits, no credit card.
  • Available: in the US and across Europe.

Maps, 3D models and thermal maps on the job. Upload overlapping drone photos to a job and 3D Scans builds a measurable map with elevation and slope, a textured 3D model you can orbit, or a thermal map from supported DJI thermal photos. Measure distance, area, height, profiles, roofs and volumes, and save each result with the scan.

Findings and client reports. Click a spot on the scan to find the original photos behind it. Pin a finding with a condition rating, notes and an estimated repair cost, then turn findings and measurements into a branded PDF report, or share a browser link the client opens without signing in. Our guide to making a 3D model from drone photos covers the capture side.

Processing priced by photos, not megapixels. Enterprise includes 200 processing credits a month, and a scan uses one credit per 100 photos. A higher-resolution camera does not burn the allowance faster, which is the opposite of DroneDeploy's gigapixel model. Maps, point clouds, surface and terrain models and textured models download in standard formats.

Jobs, pilots and airspace. Work runs as projects and jobs, with a pilot schedule by week, named shifts and time off. US jobs show FAA airspace, LAANC heights and live TFRs on the job map, which matters because controlled airspace flights under Part 107 need an FAA authorization.

Flight records from every log. DroneBundle reads DJI flight records plus PX4, ArduPilot, Autel and Parrot logs, so a mixed fleet keeps one logbook. Each flight gets 3D replay over real terrain, and DJI flights add battery health per pack.

DJI Dock flights included. Connect DJI FlightHub 2 once and dock flights sync into the same records as handheld flights. Our guide to DJI Dock flight sync shows the setup.

Clients, invoicing and maintenance. Clients get their own logins per project through a client portal, and jobs are invoiced from the work you flew. Maintenance runs by flight hours, cycles or days, with counters that advance from every synced flight, and Enterprise adds a risk register, incident reporting and audit scheduling.

Legacy Technology Lab runs its roof inspection program this way. It expects more than 20,000 commercial roof inspections in 2026 across 1.4 billion square feet, and coordinates missions, pilots and documentation in DroneBundle (case study). The DroneBundle vs DroneDeploy comparison lists every feature side by side.

DroneDeploy alternatives for processing only

The six tools below replace DroneDeploy's processing. None of them schedules pilots, tracks maintenance or invoices clients, so you would pair one with an operations platform. Our ranking of the best drone management software covers that side.

2. Pix4D: best for survey-grade processing control

Pix4D is best for survey and engineering teams that want to control every processing setting. PIX4Dmatic processes on your own computer and combines drone photogrammetry with terrestrial LiDAR, from $125 a month. PIX4Dmapper is still sold from $333 a month, and Pix4D offers a free 15-day plan with no credit card.

It is the most direct swap for "DroneDeploy vs Pix4D" shoppers: local processing and parameter control in place of a cloud workflow. Survey work still depends on well-placed ground control points, whichever engine you choose.

3. Agisoft Metashape: best one-time license

Agisoft Metashape is best for teams that would rather buy software once than subscribe. Agisoft's store lists Metashape Standard at $179 and Professional at $3,499, both node-locked to one computer.

Professional is the edition built for mapping and GIS work, while Standard suits visual 3D models. You supply the workstation, including a graphics card that can handle your photo sets. Our drone photogrammetry software comparison puts Metashape, Pix4D and the cloud tools side by side.

4. DJI Terra: best for DJI cameras and Zenmuse LiDAR

DJI Terra is best for DJI fleets flying Zenmuse LiDAR or DJI mapping cameras. It is Windows desktop software at $1,850 a year for Standard or $3,700 a year for Flagship in the US, with permanent licenses from $5,280, and Zenmuse L2 point cloud processing is free.

Terra is built around DJI hardware and stopped planning mapping flights in version 5.0. US programs planning around the FCC Covered List and foreign drone rules should weigh that before committing. Our DJI Terra guide covers every edition.

5. Propeller: best for earthworks and mining

Propeller is best for earthworks, aggregates and mining teams that measure stockpile volumes and track grade against design. Platform pricing is by quote, and its AeroPoints smart ground control targets are bought separately.

Its tools are built for civil and mining sites, so inspection and energy programs would use a small part of it.

6. WebODM: best free DroneDeploy alternative

WebODM is best for teams that want free, open-source processing. WebODM and the OpenDroneMap engine behind it are open source and free to run on your own hardware, which you set up and maintain yourself.

WebODM Lightning processes in the cloud instead. Plans run from $24 a month billed yearly for 12 maps every 30 days, $35 for unlimited maps, or pay per map, with up to 1,500 images per map (3,000 on the $99 Business plan).

7. SkyeBrowse: best for quick 3D models from video

SkyeBrowse is best for fast 3D documentation, such as public safety scenes, built from drone video rather than photos. Paid models cost $24.99 on Commercial, $49.99 on Pro and $199 on Public Safety & Enterprise, which is billed annually, and a free tier keeps models for 30 days.

Pricing is per model, so the bill rises with every site you document.

What the Procore deal means for DroneDeploy users

DroneDeploy is now a Procore company, and its published prices have not changed yet. Procore announced the agreement on July 27, 2026 and completed the merger on September 9, 2026 for about $845 million in cash, according to its SEC filing.

Procore's announcement described a platform that "sees, understands, and acts on the jobsite," which suggests where the roadmap will focus. If your program flies anything other than construction sites, ask these questions before you renew:

  • Will the Individual and Ag Lite self-serve plans continue, or will new customers be moved to bundles?
  • Will features you rely on move into Procore licensing, and at what price for non-Procore customers?
  • Will the Autodesk and Esri integrations keep their depth now that DroneDeploy belongs to an Autodesk competitor?
  • Can you lock today's price for a multi-year term, with a cap on renewal increases?

Get the answers in writing. Our overview of drone software companies tracks the wider consolidation, including Versaterm buying both DroneSense and Aloft.

DroneDeploy alternatives by industry

The right DroneDeploy alternative depends on what you fly for. Here is how the options line up by type of work.

Utilities and energy. If your deliverable is a list of defects with photos, DroneBundle builds thermal maps from supported DJI thermal photos and pins findings with condition ratings and repair costs on the scan. Our utilities and energy page shows the program side, and drones for utility inspection covers the flying.

Roof and building inspection. Measurements, findings, a branded report and the invoice live on the same job. The drone roof inspection software guide compares the options, and thermal mapping explains when a temperature map adds value.

Surveying and earthworks. Volume, height and profile measurements come straight off the scan on the job, next to the crew, the flight records and the client deliverable. If your survey team already processes in Pix4D, Metashape or Propeller, DroneBundle runs the operation around it.

Agriculture. DroneDeploy's Ag Lite plan covers VARI plant health from ordinary RGB cameras. PIX4Dfields, from $111 a month, maps fields from multispectral or RGB images. Our agriculture drone software guide covers where farm management systems fit.

Dock programs. DroneBundle syncs every DJI Dock 3 flight from FlightHub 2 into the same records as the rest of the fleet, with maintenance counters updated from each flight, as shown on our dock operations page.

How to switch from DroneDeploy without losing data

Switching from DroneDeploy safely comes down to exporting before you cancel, keeping the original photos, and running the new setup alongside it until your renewal date.

  1. Export first. DroneDeploy's FAQ says cancelled accounts keep basic access for 30 days and tells you to export what you need before then. Download orthomosaics, point clouds and models while your plan is still active.
  2. Keep the original photos. They are the only thing you can reprocess in another tool, so store them with the job rather than only in a cloud platform.
  3. Rebuild the flight history. Upload your flight logs to DroneBundle and each one becomes a flight record with replay, battery data and totals ready for billing.
  4. Overlap, then cut over. Finish open DroneDeploy projects where they are and start new jobs in DroneBundle, where Enterprise scans process on the job from day one.
  5. Time it to your renewal. DroneDeploy's published plans bill annually, so the cheapest switch lands just before the renewal date.
