The best drone management software in 2026 is DroneBundle for commercial service companies and enterprise drone programs. It runs projects, pilot scheduling, US and European airspace checks, flight records, DJI Dock flights, clients, invoicing, maintenance and safety in one platform. Specialist alternatives include Airdata UAV for battery analytics, Aloft for filing US LAANC requests, DJI FlightHub 2 for live DJI dock control, and DroneDeck or AirHub for EU-only operations.
"Drone management software" covers a lot of ground. Some tools only log flights. Some only file airspace requests. Some only stream live video from a dock. The platform worth paying for is the one that runs the whole operation: who flies, which aircraft, for which client, under which risk assessment, and what happens to the records and the invoice afterward.
That is how this list is ranked. DroneBundle comes first because it covers the widest part of the operation in one place, and the eight alternatives follow by the one job each does best, with pricing from each vendor's published pricing in October 2026. For the wider market map, including who has been acquired this year, see our guide to drone software companies.

Pricing models matter as much as headline prices. Per-user plans look cheap for one pilot and grow with every seat you add, while DroneBundle's flat tiers stay level as the team grows. Our complete guide to drone fleet management software covers how to weigh features against price.
1. DroneBundle: best overall drone management software
DroneBundle is the best drone management software for commercial service companies and enterprise drone programs, because it runs the entire operation from one workspace instead of one slice of it. Planning, people, flights, clients, money, maintenance and safety live in the same records.
- Best for: drone service companies, inspection teams and enterprise drone programs, from a handful of pilots to fleets with docks.
- Pricing: Starter $149 a month, Professional $499, Business $999, Enterprise custom. 14-day free trial with every Enterprise feature, no credit card.
- Available: in the US and across Europe. SOC 2-aligned and GDPR compliant.
Projects, jobs and pilot scheduling. Work is organized as projects and jobs, with a week view by pilot, named shifts, availability and time off, so every scheduled flight has a pilot on it before the day starts.
Airspace and weather on the job map. US projects show FAA airspace, LAANC heights, live TFRs, towers and power lines on one airspace map, and European projects show airspace zones from official aviation sources. The LAANC authorization number stays on the project, next to the forecast for the hour you fly.
Flight approvals and records. Pilots submit flights for approval, and managers approve or reject with notes. DJI flight logs become flight records with 3D replay over real terrain, battery health per pack, and Flight Summary totals ready for billing.
DJI Dock flights included. Connect DJI FlightHub 2 once and dock flights sync into the same records as handheld flights, so a DJI Dock 3 program runs from the same workspace as the rest of the fleet. Our dock operations page shows the setup.
Clients, invoicing and CRM. Clients get their own logins with access levels per project through a client portal, jobs are invoiced from the work you flew, and Business adds a CRM with a sales pipeline and a 90-day forecast.
Maps, 3D models and thermal maps. Enterprise turns the photos on a job into measurable maps, 3D models and thermal maps, with findings and inspection reports for the client.
Safety and maintenance. A risk register, incident reporting, audit scheduling and maintenance by flight hours, flights, days or charge cycles, with counters that advance from every synced flight.
Integrations and data ownership. API, webhooks and Zapier, an AI assistant, a connection for Claude or ChatGPT to your workspace, and an automatic copy of every file in your own cloud storage, explained on our data ownership page.
In the field. An iPhone app puts jobs, the schedule, site photos and the airspace map in every pilot's pocket.
Teams of every size run on it. Legacy Technology Lab manages 20,000+ commercial roof inspections across 1.4 billion square feet (case study). MobiLysis coordinated six pilots across seven Helsinki locations, with 200 flight logs and 74 flight hours on one traffic research project (case study).
Oulu University of Applied Sciences replaced Excel equipment tracking for a mixed-manufacturer research fleet (case study).
The best DroneBundle alternatives by job
The eight alternatives below each specialize in one part of the operation. Several of them work alongside DroneBundle rather than replacing it.
2. Dronedesk: best for small UK service businesses
Dronedesk is best for small drone service businesses, especially in the UK, that want jobs, risk assessments and flight logs at a low entry price. It is based in Exeter with a US office in New York, and sells UK SORA and EASA SORA 2.5 assessments as an add-on.
Plans run from Startup (one user, three jobs a month) through Pro, Unlimited and Specialist. Compared with DroneBundle, Dronedesk has no DJI Dock or FlightHub 2 sync, no maps or thermal maps, no maintenance counted from flight logs, no multi-user client logins and no native mobile app. The DroneBundle vs Dronedesk comparison covers every feature.
3. DroneLogbook: best for per-pilot logbooks
DroneLogbook is best for pilots who mainly need a flight logbook and compliance records. Pricing is per user per month, from about $6.95 to $24.95 a seat, so the bill grows with every hire.
It stops at the records. Client invoicing, a deal pipeline and client access to projects are not part of it, which is where DroneBundle takes over. See the DroneBundle vs DroneLogbook comparison, and our flight log automation guide for what automatic import should capture.
4. DroneDeck: best for EU-only specific-category paperwork
DroneDeck is best for European operators who need flight plans with risk analyses and emergency response plans under EU rules. It is based in the Netherlands and priced per user by role: View is free, Operate is €7.95 a month and Manage is €19.95 a month.
It lists no FAA airspace, LAANC or TFR support, no client portal or invoicing, no maps or 3D models, and no DJI Dock sync. Our DroneBundle vs DroneDeck comparison shows the full picture, and our guide to EASA drone regulations explains the specific category it targets.
5. Airdata UAV: best for battery health analytics
Airdata UAV is best for automatic flight log sync and per-cell battery analysis. The free plan covers 100 active flights with a six-month archive, paid 360 plans run $2.99 to $14.99 a month, and Enterprise is priced per drone.
LAANC requests work on every Airdata plan, but mission planning with assigned pilots, risk assessments and approvals is kept for Enterprise, while DroneBundle includes planning, airspace checks and approvals from Starter at $149 a month. Airdata does not run client jobs or send invoices, which is the work DroneBundle runs every day. Read the DroneBundle vs Airdata comparison or our full Airdata review.
6. Aloft Air Control: best for filing US LAANC requests
Aloft is best for submitting US LAANC authorization requests. Aloft Air Control is free for individual operators, Aloft says it processes 85% of monthly LAANC authorizations, and Versaterm acquired the company in February 2026.
The two fit together. Request LAANC in Aloft, then keep the authorization number on the DroneBundle project, where the job, the crew, the airspace map and the flight records already live. The DroneBundle vs Aloft comparison explains the split, and our LAANC authorization guide covers how requests and grid heights work.
LAANC is only available through FAA-approved providers, listed on the FAA's LAANC page.
7. DJI FlightHub 2: best for live control of DJI Docks
DJI FlightHub 2 is best for launching and watching DJI Dock 2 and Dock 3 missions live. It has a free Standard tier, DJI replaced the Professional licence with a Business version on January 27, 2026, and Enterprise is priced per device per year.
FlightHub 2 works only with DJI hardware and stops at the flight itself. DroneBundle syncs FlightHub 2 dock flights into the same records as the rest of your fleet, then adds the pilots, maintenance, clients and invoices around them. Our FlightHub 2 guide covers the tiers.
US buyers planning fleet growth on DJI hardware should also read our explainer on the FCC Covered List and foreign drones.
8. AirHub: best for European public safety command centers
AirHub is best for European police, fire and critical infrastructure teams that need a live operations center with multiple video feeds. It is based in the Netherlands, with Basic free, Professional at €15 a month, Business at €30 per user a month and Enterprise custom.
Fleet, maintenance and incident tools start on the per-user Business plan, and client logins, invoicing and a CRM are not part of its plans. The DroneBundle vs AirHub comparison lays out the differences.
9. DroneSense: best for US police and fire DFR programs
DroneSense is best for US public safety agencies running live video and drone as first responder (DFR) flights. Versaterm has owned it since July 2025, and it is licensed per aircraft per year through a quote or a reseller.
It is built for the incident, not the business, and pricing is not published. Our DroneSense guide covers its modules and real agency pricing.
Maps and 3D models without a second subscription
DroneBundle Enterprise builds maps, 3D models and thermal maps from the photos on a job, with measurements, findings and inspection reports, so the deliverable sits next to the flights, the pilot and the invoice. Standalone mapping tools are a separate subscription with a separate login.
DroneDeploy, now owned by Procore after a September 2026 acquisition, and Pix4D are the best-known standalone options. Our DroneDeploy pricing breakdown and drone photogrammetry software guide compare them.
US and European rules change the shortlist
The regulator you fly under narrows the shortlist fast, because several platforms on this list are built around one rulebook. DroneBundle is available in the US and across Europe, with airspace data for both.
In the US, commercial flights run under Part 107. Section 107.7 requires the remote pilot to make their certificate, and any document, record or report the rules require them to keep, available to the FAA on request.
Flights in controlled airspace need an authorization, through LAANC where it is available, and temporary flight restrictions can appear at short notice on the FAA's TFR list. DroneBundle shows both on the project map and keeps every flight record retrievable. Our Part 107 guide covers the baseline.
In Europe, operations in the specific category run on operational authorisations backed by a risk assessment, typically SORA. DroneBundle keeps a risk assessment on every job, an operation-wide risk register, and audit templates for SORA, airworthiness and safety management.
How to build your drone software stack
DroneBundle sits at the center of the stack for every team size, with a specialist tool added only where you need one.
Solo pilots and two-person teams. DroneBundle Starter, from $149 a month, covers projects, flight planning, airspace and weather checks, flight approvals and the pilot schedule, with Aloft's free app for LAANC requests. Our guide to drone management software for small business compares the affordable options.
Service companies with several pilots and recurring clients. DroneBundle Professional adds flight logs, client logins and invoicing, and Business adds the CRM. Our comparison of operations software and spreadsheets shows where the spreadsheet approach starts to cost money.
Enterprise programs with docks. DroneBundle Enterprise with FlightHub 2 dock sync, maintenance counters, the risk register, 3D scans and the API, with FlightHub 2 handling live dock control.
Public safety agencies. DroneSense in the US or AirHub in Europe for the live picture, with DroneBundle running the program records, maintenance and safety around those flights.
