Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and DroneBundle Oy ("DroneBundle", "we", "us"), a company registered in Finland (Business ID 3562593-2), registered office at Sturenkatu 26 LT 36, 00510 Helsinki, Finland. They govern your access to and use of the DroneBundle platform, websites, web and mobile applications, APIs, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" means that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Where you and DroneBundle have signed a separate order form or written agreement, that document governs what it covers, and these Terms apply to everything else. If there is a conflict, the signed order form prevails.
1. The Service
DroneBundle is a drone operations management platform for professional operators and organisations. It helps you plan and manage missions and jobs, coordinate pilots and teams, track equipment, manage clients and projects, store operational files, and produce reports. We add, change, and remove features over time. Some features, add-ons, and integrations may be limited to certain plans or offered for an additional fee.
2. Accounts and Access
You need an account to use most of the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and under the accounts of the people you invite into your workspace, including their compliance with these Terms. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in breach of any law or regulation;
- upload or share content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, to other accounts, or to our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or introduce malicious code;
- extract data from the Service by automated means, except through our API as permitted;
- resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties outside your organisation without our written permission;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or try to derive the source code of the Service.
We may investigate suspected breaches and act on them, including by suspending or removing content or access.
4. Your Responsibilities as an Operator
You are solely responsible for ensuring your drone operations comply with all applicable aviation and other laws, and for holding the licenses, certifications, permissions, and insurance your operations require. DroneBundle gives you tools to organise and document your operations, but we do not provide legal, regulatory, or safety advice, and we do not guarantee that your operations are compliant. Decisions about whether, when, and how to fly are yours.
5. Your Data
You own the data, files, and records you put into the Service ("Your Data"). You grant us the permissions we need to host, process, and display Your Data in order to provide and improve the Service. We may use aggregated, anonymised data, which does not identify you or your customers, to operate and improve the Service. We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Data and for keeping your own backups of anything critical. We take reasonable measures to protect data, but you should not rely on the Service as your only copy of important records.
6. Plans, Billing, and Payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at purchase or set out in your order form, in the currency stated. Prices are exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
- Payments may be handled by our payment provider (currently Stripe) or by invoice and bank transfer, as agreed.
- Unless your order form says otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for further periods of the same length. You can cancel renewal at any time before the end of the current period, through your account or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of that period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- If an invoice is overdue, we may suspend the Service after giving you notice. You remain responsible for fees that are due.
- You receive no right to use a paid feature until we have received payment for it.
7. Intellectual Property and Licence
The Service, including its software, design, and content (other than Your Data), is owned by or licensed to DroneBundle and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business operations during your subscription, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. This licence ends when your subscription ends.
8. API and Integrations
If we make an API or integrations available, you may use them subject to these Terms and any documentation or limits we publish. You are responsible for how you use the API, for keeping your API keys secure, and for any application or integration you build. We are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of the API or from third-party products or services you connect to the Service.
9. Fair Use and Resource Limits
The Service is provided on a fair-use basis. If your use consumes storage, processing, or API capacity well beyond normal usage for your plan, or in a way that affects other customers or the stability of the Service, we may contact you to agree appropriate limits or pricing, and we may throttle or suspend the activity where needed, giving reasonable notice where practical.
10. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance and may change or discontinue parts of the Service. For mission-critical or safety-critical decisions, keep alternative procedures and do not rely on the Service alone.
11. Warranties and Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, or that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, however caused.
- Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DroneBundle harmless from any third-party claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your drone operations, Your Data, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates risk or harm.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will make Your Data available for export for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it. Sections that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, survive termination.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or a notice in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The current version is always available on our website.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of Finland (District Court of Helsinki) have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
17. Customers in the United States
If you are based in the United States, then to the fullest extent permitted by law, you and DroneBundle each waive any right to a jury trial, and any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only. You and DroneBundle each waive any right to bring or take part in a class action.
18. General
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
- We may assign or transfer these Terms, including to a successor or affiliated entity, for example as part of a reorganisation or a change of the company behind DroneBundle. Your rights under any active order form are not reduced by this. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
- Where you have signed an order form with us, that order form together with these Terms is the entire agreement between us for the Service.
- Notices and questions can be sent to support@dronebundle.com.
