DroneBundle runs drone operations from airspace check to client report
Wilmington, Delaware · October 6, 2026
DroneBundle, the drone operations platform founded by Javid, brings mission planning, flight logs, compliance records and 3D deliverables together on the job they belong to. Recent releases add DJI Dock flights through DJI FlightHub 2, automatic flight verification against flight logs, and maps and 3D models built from a job’s own photos.
Drone service providers, inspection teams and enterprise programs use DroneBundle to plan a job, fly it and deliver the result in one place. Each step stays connected to the job, so details are entered once and carried through to the client report.
Plan the mission
Before a crew leaves for the site, DroneBundle’s planner shows the airspace and weather window for it. In the US that means FAA airspace classes and LAANC altitude limits, live temporary flight restrictions, towers, wind turbines and other obstacles with their heights, and high-voltage power lines, together with the forecast and daylight rules for the hour of the flight. Airspace zones are also available across Europe. Teams run the risk assessment, assign the pilot and aircraft, and plan each pilot’s week in a schedule that shows every flight still without a pilot.

Fly, and the logs file themselves
After a flight, the DroneBundle companion app pulls the flight log straight off the aircraft and files it to the right job, with no card swapping or manual entry. For operators running DJI Dock, Dock 2 or Dock 3, dock flights arrive on their own through DJI FlightHub 2. Every scheduled flight is then checked against its log and marked as flown with the log as proof, so only the flights that still need a person are flagged for review. Each log breaks down into the flight path, speed, altitude and battery health, can be replayed in 3D, and updates the pilot’s hours and the aircraft’s maintenance counters.

“Running drone work meant flights in one app, documents in another, and compliance and scheduling in spreadsheets that never talked to each other. DroneBundle puts all of it on the job, from the airspace check to the report the client receives.”
Process, inspect and deliver
Teams turn a job’s photos into a measurable map, a 3D model or, from DJI thermal photos, a temperature map. They can save distances, areas, heights, roof pitch and volumes, record findings with the original photos of each spot as evidence, and send the client a branded PDF report or a link to explore the scan. Clients can log in to a portal to follow their projects, deliverables and invoices.

Compliance runs alongside the work: a risk register, incident reports, scheduled safety audits, and maintenance by flight hours, flight count, calendar days or battery cycles, tied to an inventory of every drone, battery and accessory. Field teams use the DroneBundle mobile app to check the airspace, see their jobs and update status with photos from the site. Customer data is stored in the EU under GDPR, the platform is SOC 2-aligned, and enterprise customers can mirror every file to cloud storage they own.
DroneBundle AI works across the whole operation. Teams ask it about projects, jobs, flights, pilots and equipment in plain English, and it can draft work such as a new job for a person to approve before anything is created. Teams can also connect Claude and ChatGPT to their workspace.
Legacy Technology Lab, which inspects commercial roofs for institutional property owners, runs its drone operations on DroneBundle. The company expects to complete more than 20,000 roof inspections in 2026 across more than 1.4 billion square feet of roofing.
“There has been a massive gap in the drone operations software space for years. Most platforms were either built for hobby pilots or narrowly focused on flight planning, but they never solved the operational side of running a real drone program. DroneBundle fills that gap. It gives organizations like ours the ability to manage missions, documentation, and field operations in a way that actually scales.”
DroneBundle began as a side project for reviewing its founder’s own flights, and grew as it became clear how many separate tools a drone operation depends on. As enterprise teams came on board, Javid built a dedicated team that handles support, keeps shipping new features and works with customers every day. DroneBundle serves operators in the US and across Europe, from single pilots to enterprise inspection programs.
“As BVLOS rules take shape, including the FAA’s Part 108 rule, now in final review, more flights will happen with nobody standing next to the aircraft. That makes the record of each flight matter more, not less, and that record should come from the flight data itself.”
About DroneBundle
DroneBundle is a drone operations platform for teams that fly for a living. It brings flight planning, scheduling, flight logs, equipment and maintenance, safety and compliance records, 3D scans and client delivery into one place. Founded by Javid and run by a dedicated team that handles support, ships new features and works with customers every day, DroneBundle is independent and available in the US and across Europe. dronebundle.com
